Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 August 2026
Important information. These terms describe the hosted PaperMosaic service and are not formal legal advice. The service uses the public contact name Voss Graves; that name is not presented as a verified registered legal entity.

These Terms of Use govern access to PaperMosaic, a browser-based PDF toolkit available at https://papermosaic.vossgraves.cyou/, and use of the related open-source repository. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Service description

PaperMosaic provides free document utilities that may include PDF merging, splitting, organization, conversion, editing, OCR, signing, redaction, security, summarisation, translation, and related functions. Features may change, be removed, or be unavailable depending on the browser, file type, conversion engine, third-party service, or deployment configuration.

2. Acceptable use

You may use PaperMosaic only for lawful purposes and only with files you are authorized to process. You must not use it to infringe copyright, privacy, confidentiality, publicity, trade-secret, export-control, or other rights; distribute malware; attempt to bypass security controls; interfere with the service; or process material in violation of applicable law.

3. Your documents and results

You retain your rights in documents you provide and results generated from them, subject to the rights of any third party whose material you use and the licenses of embedded libraries or external services. You are responsible for checking that an output is complete, accurate, readable, secure, and suitable for its intended purpose before relying on it.

4. Third-party services

Optional features may use providers selected by you or configured by the deployment, including AI endpoints, translation APIs, public package CDNs, and hosted conversion assets. Those providers have separate terms, availability, and privacy practices. PaperMosaic does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, outages, security, pricing, or handling of information sent to them.

5. No professional advice

PaperMosaic is a document utility, not a lawyer, accountant, translator, records custodian, security auditor, or professional adviser. OCR, translation, summarisation, comparison, redaction, encryption, and conversion results can be incomplete or inaccurate. Obtain qualified professional review when the document has legal, financial, medical, regulatory, employment, or other material consequences.

6. Availability and disclaimer

The site and outputs are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. The operator disclaims warranties not required by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. You should keep original copies and independent backups of important documents.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use PaperMosaic. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Open-source software

The source code is separately licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Redistributors must preserve the license and NOTICE file and the notices required by that license. A visible “Powered by PaperMosaic” credit is requested for user-facing redistributions where practical. The open-source license governs the code; these Terms govern use of the hosted service. Third-party dependencies remain subject to their own licenses.

9. Changes, suspension, and contact

The operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue the hosted service and may revise these Terms. The current version will be published at this URL. For questions about these Terms, contact the operator using the public name Voss Graves at primevideoistaken@gmail.com. This public contact identity is not presented as a verified registered legal entity. Any governing-law or dispute provisions remain subject to applicable mandatory law. For project discussion, use the repository and do not disclose confidential information in public issues.
